Question: Hiding employer name in resume?
I worked at a doctor’s office for a year, and while I learned a lot, we parted on really bad terms. I have other references, so I just need to figure out how to hide her name on my resume so they don’t contact her. Since it was a private practice owned by her, I’ve been writing
“Medical Assistant — ____(doctor’s name)___, MD”
on my resume. Is there any other way I can list this so it doesn’t show her name? Like say “Burlington Pain Management”?
Btw, the name of the business is technically “__(Doctor’s name)___, MD”

sorry, but no…they’ll ask you about it in the interview anyway…they’ll ask why you left your last job anyway, hopefully the reason is acceptable to them.
wish I had a better answer…but when I hire, we check no matter what. And if you dealt with it in a healthy, normal way…then it will sometimes help you.

“Web Reputation Management” alerting me to negative postings on the Internet about my service. I did a search of my domain name and found that there was a negative posting! This is absolutely a scam, which I have to presume was implemented by those who contacted me offering to clean it up.
There are people out there, specifically posting negative commentary and then offering a service to clean it up.
This is beyond reprehensible. What can I do? What recourse do I have and how can I get these scammers shut down?

Question: What should I do if I am bullied at work?
I am currently working as an intern at DOT. Yesterday when I got out of work and waiting for the elevator, one of the deputy director was leaving as well. He came to me and asked:”You don’t have an engineering degree”, I said:”my degree was in construction management, I don’t know if it’s considered as engineering (it’s under civil engineering department)”. He said:” so you’re not even an engineer”, I said once again:”construction management”, He said:”it’s not a specified subject, I’ve never heard of this major!” I was keeping in quiet, but I think he’s totally ignorance, because construction is a big field, and no one in the construction industry doesn’t know about this area of study, and he’s been in the industry probably been a while. And I get the feelings that he’s trying to tell me I shouldn’t be working there because of my degree. I don’t understand why he’s acting like this towards me, but I’d like to have some advice about what to do (in the sense that I don’t screw my chance of getting a job after the internship). I already thinking about contacting the HR about being insulted, but how to be more effective. And is there anything else I should do? Please give me some advices. Thanks!!

UV coating, on the other hand, is a liquid gloss plastic coating which is applied after the printing process. Finally, we have film lamination. In this finish, a plastic film is applied on postcards after printing.
